We welcome your feedback! Please contact Michael Grant or Stephen Boyd with your bug reports and feature suggesstions, or just to let us know the novel applications you have for CVX. In addition, please let us know if you choose to incorporate CVX into a course you are teaching — we like to keep track.
If you do send a bug report, please include the following information if possible:
- A copy of the error messages, if any, produced by Matlab.
- The versions of CVX, Matlab, and operating system you are using. CVX provides a command called cvx_version that will print all of this information to the screen — just copy its output from Matlab and paste it into your email.
- A Matlab program (.m) and/or data (.mat) file that we can use to reproduce the problem.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Mailing list
This software is actively updated with bug fixes, improvements, and new features. In addition, we will continue to expand the atom library. For minor improvements and fixes, we update the web site silently; that is, without making an announcement. Major updates are announced through our cvx-announce mailing list. If you would like to be added to this list, we invite you to complete the subscription request form at the cvx-announce mailing list home page.
Alternatively, you may follow the CVX Research Twitter feed. This feed provides announcements of updates to both CVX and TFOCS, new posts to the CVX Research blog, and other updates. If you want to see just the CVX-related announcements, you can add a filter for the #pre hashtag.
